Mixed 3-Pitch Softball

Description:

Adult Mixed 3-Pitch Softball is a CBBCA Program.

Summer and softball are terrific in The Bay. This is a non-competitive league for adults seeking a lively social activity. The season runs from late June or early July with an end of season tournament in September. Teams play one or two games each week – all games are played at the Community Centre. If you are not currently a member of a team it isn’t a problem, we’ll put you on our wait list and we can’t find a space your payment will be refunded.

I hereby acknowledge that I am aware of the risks and hazards associated with or related to Mixed Adult 3-pitch softball. The risks and hazards include, but are not limited to injuries from:

• Executing strenuous and demanding physical activity;
• Falls due to uneven or irregular surfaces;
• Collisions with fences, poles, and other equipment;
• Failure to properly use or to use defective or improperly fitted helmets, kneepads, or other protective materials;
• Weather conditions;
• Contact with material on the ground including stones, refuse, poison ivy, and other material in and around the playing field.
• Contact, colliding or being struck by other participants, balls, bases, retaining pegs and clips, bats, spectators, equipment or vehicles;

I UNDERSTAND AND AGREE, on behalf of myself, my heirs, assigns, personal representatives and next of kin that my completing this registration:

• I agree to accept all these risks and hazards and be responsible for any injury or other loss I  might receive while participating in this program.
• I understand the conditions and risks and this waiver releases and forever discharges  the City of Ottawa,  the Constance and Buckham’s Bay Community Association, their Executive and their members, and all league and team coordinators and officials, from any and all claims for personal injuries and property damage of any nature whatsoever, arising by reason of my participation in this program.
