Waste Management delivers $35,000 Sandhills contribution
The CBBCA is very grateful to report the completion of Waste Management’s generous contribution to Project Sandhills; $35,000. WM was one of the project’s earliest supporters, help that officially started with the 2012 Sandhills Golf Tournament. Wayne French, Director of Public Relations at WM, actually helped cut the Sandhills cake to officially launch the project. Waste Management has a history of supporting the communities where it does business and its support for Sandhills has been a significant comfort to the project team over the last two years. According to Ian Glen, CBBCA President, “we’ve known for a long time that they’d be there for us but it still feels great to put the cheque in the bank”.
Over the next few weeks, as the design phase of Project Sandhills approaches completion and we reach tender readiness, we look forward to officially acknowledging the contributions of our remaining corporate supporters.

Wayne French, Eli, and our 2012 Golf team cut the Sandhills cake to mark the official start of fundraising.
