An exceptional  week of events and donations increased the committed funding for Sandhills to $1,052,000. Although the math isn’t straight forward we expect we can go to tender with a viable, but very basic,  project when our committed funding hits $1,500,000… so with city matching we have about $250,000 to go before we can get the basic construction started.

Some really important elements, like the parking lot upgrades, need the project to reach its goal of $1,900,000 before construction finishes late next year.  Maintaining momentum, hitting $1,500,000 before year end, so we can be ready for a spring construction start is incredibly important.
