The ODR (outdoor rink) at Northwind is now open for skaters, weather permitting. Under provincial and City stay-at-home rules, which are in effect until February 10, 2021, the Community Centre will remain closed, there is a 25 person limit, the rink closes nightly at 10pm, and sports or games where people may come within two metres of each other are not permitted to be practiced or played; this includes shinny, hockey and ringette. Sticks, pucks, and nets are not permitted on the rink at any time prior to February 10. Anyone not skating on the rink is required to wear a properly fitted mask.
