On September 8th Mennonite Disaster Services returned to Constance Bay to continue the rebuilding; MDS crews will carry out repairs on most of the remaining homes that were damaged in the historic Spring flood. We are exceptionally grateful to MDS who were on site in May, July, and August and have collaborated closely with CBBCA Flood Relief  through-out our journey. MDS crews are expected to be on site through until late October, with the support of our donors and volunteers,  repairing 18 homes. Flood Relief has already delivered most of the materials needed for this very significant, nearly 700 hours, piece of work .  Planning is underway for their return in the spring when we hope to complete the 3 rebuilds for our most severely impacted families. We cannot say enough about the contributions these wonderful people are making to our community.
