From June 10th to 19th 2015  parts of the Constance Bay Community Centre are closed to the public. This closure impacts the building, library, programs, ball diamonds, washrooms, and a significant part of the parking lot. The other facilities remain open and a portable toilet is located at the rear of the building.

During this time Sandhills Phase 1 will make some important strides towards preparing to open. Electrical systems are being upgraded and interconnected, the septic system is being expanded, and an emergency fire resivoir and hydrant are being installed near the road. The main staircase will be removed to instal the new second floor connection between the new and old buildings.

 When the facility reopens on June 19th access to the main hall will only be available by the rear fire stair and the elevator. We will remain this way until the new facility opens. The reduction in exit capacity also means the capacity of the hall is temporarily reduced to 60.
