Ontario parents, youth, coaches, and convenors are required to complete an Ontario Rowan’s Law registration and CBBCA code of conduct and CBBCA Concussion Protocol review to register for sporting programs; it takes about 30 minutes and is available by clicking the “Programs & Rowan’s Law” item on the Left Menu or go to https://cbbca.ca/cms/cbbca-programs-rowans-law/ registration. It is necessary to complete the Programs & Rowan’s Law registration page once each year. Note that coaches and trainers have a slightly different registration to complete through the WC Minor Softball Association at http://wcminorsoftball.ca ***

Learn to Play (T-Ball) is a CBBCA Program for children born 2016 to 2018.
Registration for older ages is available on the Left Menu;

The season runs from early May until the end of June. The boys and girls play all games at the Northwind Community Centre at 6:30pm on Wednesdays. The fee is $40 per child.
Team sizes are limited, placement is based on registration date. We recommend full face helmets for all players, they are required at older ages. If we are unable to place your child on their requested team you will be offered your choice of an alternate team or a full refund.
Registration ends April 15. Once your registration is complete you will receive a confirmation email requesting you to 1) provide your preference between coaching, assistant coaching, or supporting the team in another capacity 2) Interest in being an Ump 3) Identify allergies, asthma or other considerations 4) shirt size 5) other requests.

LEGAL REGISTRATION AGREEMENT & WAIVER
I hereby acknowledge that I am aware of the risks and hazards associated with or related to my ward participating in T Ball. The risks and hazards include, but are not limited to injuries from:
- Executing strenuous and demanding physical activity;
- Falls due to uneven or irregular surfaces;
- Collisions with fences, poles, and other equipment;
- Failure to properly use or to use defective or improperly fitted helmets or other protective materials;
- Weather conditions;
- Contact with material on the ground including stones, refuse, poison ivy, and other material in and around the playing field.
- Contact, colliding or being struck by other participants, balls, bases, retaining pegs and clips, bats, spectators, equipment or vehicles;
I UNDERSTAND AND AGREE, on behalf of myself, my heirs, assigns, personal representatives and next of kin that my completing this registration:
- I agree to accept all these risks and hazards and be responsible for any injury my child might receive while participating in this program.
- I understand the conditions and risks and this waiver releases and forever discharges the City of Ottawa, the Constance and Buckham’s Bay Community Association, their Executive and their volunteers, and all league and team coordinators and officials, from any and all claims for personal injuries and property damage of any nature whatsoever, arising by reason of my participation in this program.
